Protect Your Resume
Tip: Protect your resume content. Many job seekers send their resume online without protecting, or locking, the document first. While it's highly unlikely that a HR or hiring manager would intentionally make edits or changes to your resume they could do it unknowingly. Protect your resume either by locking it in Word or Adobe Acrobat. In Word go to Review > Protect Document. From there it's easy to figure it out. Download a free version of Adobe and simply choose the option to convert a document into a PDF. Easy peasy.
